“ #1 MEDITERRANEAN CAFE Got the chicken shish kabob and it was SO JUICY AND TENDER melted in my mouth and INCREDIBLY FLAVORFUL. I was gorging on their saffron rice, well cooked and savory. This is coming from an INDIAN PERSON. Service is INCREDIBLE. The owner and his son truly care about you and will go above and beyond to cater to your needs. Restaurant is so nice and well kept, they have a TV to keep you entertained and the owner will have you laughing at his jokes. Ambiance is a 10/10 and I cannot wait to come back! ”

“ Got the chicken and beef filet shish kabob combo plate and it really hit the spot. As others have noted, the meat was cooked to perfection, medium for the filet. The chicken was OK, not as juicy as I've experienced at other spots, but at least not dry either. Came with basmati rice, grilled red onions and tomato, and a few pieces pita bread. We ordered some hummus on the side, it's a must-try! Mixed with oil and seasoned just right. Overall, very happy with the meal. Good portion. Standard pricing. Service was great, we ordered online and food was ready as promised. Easy parking in this large strip mall. ”

“ Found Kabob Cafe was one of the participating restaurants of the Lake Forest Gift Card, so co workers and I decided to give it a shot. We got here a little before noon and not long after, the line was out the door. So I guess good word of advice is to arrive early! The food was amazing - everybody loved what they ordered. Gyro wrap does have raw onions in it and it was too spicy for one of my co workers, so if you are sensitive to raw onions, would be good to ask for no onions or remove it when you eat it. Anyways, both coworkers who ordered the gyro wraps said they had really good flavor. Chicken shish kabob - coworker said meat was extremely tender and flavorful with the hummus. And my koobideh combo plate - both chicken and beef were tender with amazing flavors. Overall, glad we decided to give this place a try. We will definitely come back to try more items from their menu! ”
“ One of the best kabob spots here and it's on the LF gift card list! I love getting the combo koobideh with beef and chicken. Both are always juicy, never dry and packed with flavor. The salad always tastes fresh and the rice compliments nicely. Easy to call in and order for takeout or dine in but sometimes it gets pretty busy so best to plan ahead. The chicken shish kabob is always nice and always need to order some tzatziki on the side. ”
